Chapel Project

Since June 24, 2025 when we broke ground for the construction of a Chapel Building at the Main Campus Athi River, Daystar University Vice Chancellor, Prof. Laban P. Ayiro, has continued to rally all stakeholders behind his commitment to raise Ksh 239 Million for a house of prayer on Campus - a vision that is deeply rooted in our heritage and faith. 

The dream for a Chapel building at Main Campus Athi River began in 1999 when the Founding Vice Chancellor, Prof. Stephen Talitwala, walked 820 kilometres from Kampala to Nairobi, over 22 days, to raise funds for the Chapel.  Watch the Chapel video here https://youtu.be/LqD9QlmocqI
