Daystar's Patrick Odongo leads Kenya to the 2024 Paris Olympics

This past weekend Patrick Odongo, a Daystar Rugby Falcons team member, pushed two of three goals that saw Kenya Rugby 7s team clinch the Africa title, and consequently
qualify for 2024 Paris Olympics.

Despite losing his mother on 9th September, Patrick travelled to Harare, Zimbabwe, for the Rugby African Men's 7s.

A Community Development major in the School of Applied Human Science, Patrick got a place in the national Kenya Shujaa Rugby Team.

Last Saturday, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Laban P. Ayiro led students and staff to condole with Odongo's father and family in Makuti, Ngong

The late Mrs. Sophia Atieno Ogok will be laid to rest on 29th September 2023.
